Our programmes cater to children and adults. Our core facilities are set up to deliver education and community & cultural projects to the community. Amongst our range of activities, we host madrassah programmes and run a mosque holding 5 daily prayers including Friday’s Jumu’ah Sermon.

A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR
Mimbar Academy & Cultural Centre is truly hope and good news for the Muslims and Non-Muslims in the United Kingdom. The great need for receiving divine knowledge, direction, and guidance is not unclear to any person of intellect in this modern age. This humble launch of Mimbar Academy is the beginning of a long journey in educating our young generation and serving the people of our community who are in desperate need of help in many different ways.
Our children are our future and therefore Mimbar Academy has already become a very lovely and joyful place for our young pupils, who are attending in our Evening and Weekend Madrasah. The first message which came from Allah, The Almighty to mankind through his Noble Messenger Muhammad PBUH was the sentence in Arabic “Iqraa Bismi Rabbikalladhi Khalaq” which means “Read in the name of your Lord who created you”. Muslims from the early stage of Islam took knowledge and education very seriously which continued throughout its history. Muslims’ contributions to the world’s religious and secular education, isn’t unclear to any fair-minded learned person.
By the grace of Allah, The Almighty, Mimbar Academy & Cultural Centre has been established since September 2019 in the borough of Tower Hamlets in London, with an aim to enlighten the people of all ages in the UK with Religious Education that is in accordance with the balanced understanding of Prophets, Companions and the majority of Scholars and predecessors of Islam. The Academy aims to promote classical Islamic Knowledge while addressing the contemporary issues faced by Muslims on a day to day basis in this modern age.
Islamic Education is unimaginable without its practice and application. Therefore, Mimbar Academy takes Trabiyaah/Spiritual Training and Adaab/Etiquettes very seriously and it will always be one of its fundamental priorities.
Hikmah is a Quranic term which means wisdom. It has been a fundamental method of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH, his companions, and our previous scholars throughout history when it came to teaching knowledge and spreading the message of Allah on this planet. Mimbar Academy will be obliged to follow this basic principle of Hikmah/wisdom in all its activities.
